title: Interesting thread on X
description: "China just launched a new kind of trade war. \n\"The U.S. slapped tariffs on Chinese goods.\nChina didn’t retaliate with weapons.\nThey retaliated with information.\nThe kind that makes $1,000 handbags look like $10 scams.\n\nTikTok is now flooded with Chinese suppliers exposing the truth:\n👜 “You want a Birkin? We make them.”\n🧘♀️ “Those $100 Lululemons? They’re $6 here.”\n👟 “Your Nikes? Same factory.”\n\nMade in China. \nShipped to Europe. \nStamped “luxury.” \nSent back. \nMarked up 1,000%.\n\nYou thought you were buying European craftsmanship.\nYou were buying a logo, a story, and a markup fantasy.\nChina just ripped the mask off the entire Western luxury machine and showed you the receipts.\n\nAnd they’re being petty with it. 😏\nThey’re not just selling you knockoffs.\nThey’re showing you the exact factory.\nTelling you the production cost.\nAnd teaching you how to fly in, shop direct, and skip tariffs altogether."
